Just wrapped up Cohort#2 of the Idea Validation Bootcamp with an amazing session with Arjun Sing. Arjun is 2X entrepreneur - Co-Founder of m8buy and Founder of Slow Dating!
Here are the top learnings from his session today:
Don't copy ideas blindly, focus on the problem and audience you are solving for
Scratch your own itch - It's easier to solve problems you are facing yourself
Improve over the existing solutions in the market (aim for 7x improvement over current solutions!)
Start with a hypothesis, then work to prove or disprove it
MVP should have a decent user experience - even if you have to just stitch it together using multiple tools!
Leverage no-code - it's a superpower!
Build in public, the internet is permission-less - leverage it!
Not every idea is suited for VC funding - don't wait for permission from VC's to build your idea
Keep experimenting with distribution -do things that don't scale!
The 0-1 flywheel: Distribute β> Get feedback β> Iterate β> Repeat
Registrations are open for Cohort #3!
